MEET THE TEAM

CHRISTOPHER PHILLIPS, M.SC, P.GEO (ONT)
PRINCIPAL, SENIOR GEOPHYSICIST
Chris Phillips is a Principal with 25 years of geophysical consulting experience. He received his Undergraduate and Masters degrees from the University of Waterloo specializing in geophysical for geotechnical applications. Through his career he has performed geophysical surveys throughout North America, the Arctic circle, as well as the Caribbean, Central America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Chris has performed geophysical surveys for large geotechnical projects including subway expansions, rail expansions, new bridges, nuclear energy, waste management sites, oil terminals, hydroelectric dams and pump-storage facilities, port expansion projects, and road expansion and rehabilitation projects. His clients are both in the public and private sector.

Chris has supported large archaeological projects with geophysics in Canada, Central America and Europe. He has also supported mining and geotechnical projects globally.

Chris has published numerous scientific papers ranging in topics such as detection of underground voids, geophysical methods for seismic site classification, and the use of GPR for mapping pavement structures.
